Windows 98 PPTP Client
A. For VPN Server Setup:
1.Common Settings:
a. Type the Profile Name.
b. Select "Enable this Profile".
c. Select Dial-In and set the Idle Timeout as 0 to retain this tunnel till terminated by the remote site.
3.Dial-in Settings:
a. Enable the PPTP tunnel.
b. Type the Username, Password.
4.TCP/IP Network Settings:
Type the Remote Network IP and Remote Network mask.
When VPN client successfully dials in, you may check the connection status in System Management> VPN Connection Management.
B. For VPN Client Setup:
1.Common Settings:
a. Type the Profile Name.
b. Select "Enable this Profile".
c. Select Dial-Out and set the Idle Timeout as 0 to retain this tunnel till terminated by the remote site.
If you select Always on, Vigor will try to reconnect if the tunnel is broken.
2.Dial-Out Settings:
a. Enable the PPTP tunnel.
b. Type the IP address or host name of VPN server.
c. Type the Username and Password.
4.TCP/IP Network Settings:
Type the Remote Network IP and Remote Network mask.
When VPN client successfully dials out, you may check the connection status in System Management> VPN Connection Management.
