My mail seems to take longer and longer to download and I keep getting all my old mail every time I log in.
You've probably not set "delete mail after download" in your email application.
By not deleting your mail your mail will continue to reside on our pop3 server which will mean that your mailbox will continue to get bigger and bigger making it slower to download new mail.
